Job Summary
This position is located at Bureau of Engraving and Printing, with in the Office of Environment, Health and Safety at WCF, in Fort Worth, TX. As an Environmental Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating Bureau-wide programs designed to ensure safe, healthy, environmentally sound facilities for employees, contractors, visitors and neighbors at its facilities.

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized experience for the GS-13 level is one year of experience at the GS-12 level or equivalent that has equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience includes: -Assisting in the development of, or participating in environmental programs, encompassing hazardous and non-hazardous waste compliance, spill preparedness prevention, and response plans; AND -Making recommendations in matters concerning regulatory requirements that relate to industrial wastewater pretreatment or sanitary wastewater treatment, and storm water management; AND -Serving on a team that operates and maintains an industrial wastewater pretreatment plant or sanitary wastewater treatment plant; or managing a contract for the operations and maintenance of an industrial wastewater pretreatment plant or sanitary wastewater treatment plant. If you are a displaced or surplus Federal employee eligible for the Career Transition Assistance Plan (CTAP)/Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP), achieve a well-qualified score of 85 or higher to receive priority consideration.
