About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation at Wright-Patterson AFB. Organizes and leads Outdoor and Community Program Activities. Teaches youth and adult recreation skills from beginner to advance. The position includes paid holidays, annual and sick leave accrual, as well as optional participation in Group Health, Dental and Life Insurance plans, Retirement, 401K and Flexible Benefits plans.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Specialized experience that demonstrates ability to apply the principles of one or more specialty areas of recreation. Specialized experience may Include: Planning, organizing, coordinating, supervising, or evaluating community, industrial, outdoor, indoor. or other recreation programs. Instructing in the principles and techniques of recreation program planning and management. Serving in a leadership role in the programs and activities of local, regional, and or national recreational organizations. Education may be substituted for experience or vice versa. Undergraduate and Graduate education majoring in general recreation, or one of the appropriate fields such as outdoor recreation. Certified in standard First Aid and CPR for adults and children. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries {NACI). Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license. This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug- use.
