Job Summary
This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the JBSA Lackland Outdoor Recreation Facility.. This is Regular Part-time with guaranteed 20 hrs./wk but may work up to 40 hrs./wk. Scheduled as needed. Employees appoint to a Regular category position are eligible for benefits. Must be able to frequently lifts equipment and items weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted. The position requires working outside in all weather conditions.

Qualifying Experience: Progressive experience in planning, organizing, conducting, and evaluating outdoor adventure programs. Practical experience which has provided familiarity and knowledge of the procedures need to facilitate, lead, or instruct individuals or groups in recreation programs and activities is desired. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Must possess skill in dealing with public Must possess the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle with attached trailer Knowledge of Outdoor Recreation activities, programs, and equipment Cashier training and/or knowledge Customer service training Office equipment **NOTE: Those qualified applicants who meet both the minimum qualification requirement(s) and highly preferred criteria(s) will be considered best qualified for this position and will be referred to the selecting official(s) first for consideration.
