Job Summary
This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the JBSA Fort Sam Houston Aquatics Center. This is a Regular Full-Time position with guaranteed 35 hrs./wk., may work up to 40 hrs./wk. This position is eligible for benefits.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have directly related work experience in planning, supervising, administering, and/or carrying out an indoor/outdoor aquatics program thatincludes swim lessons, lifeguarding, and water safety certification classes. This experience must have included financial and physical resourcemanagement and demonstrated ability to utilize available resources within a framework. Progressive experience must demonstrate knowledge of standardized rules, procedures, and operations. Lifeguarding certification is required. Knowledge Skills and Abilities: Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1. Be able to communicate both orally and writing. 2. Must have ability to supervise, train, and schedule subordinates. 3. Knowledge of pool safety and maintenance. 4. Ability to notice exterior/interior building deficiencies for replace or repair. 5. Knowledge of standardized rules, procedures, and operations.6.
