About the position: This position is located at the Aquatic Center, Ramstein AB, Germany. Organize, promote, and schedule daily activities to address differing needs of the base populace. Supervise lifeguards as they execute duties and responsibilities and provides assistance and guidance. This position may offer logistical support.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have a general familiarity with the routines and procedures followed in group activities or programs. In addition must have experience in an activity involving supervision of others. Must have lifeguard experience. Must possess of a current and valid nationally recognized lifeguard certification, covering lifesaving and water rescue methods, skills and procedures. Must be able to obtain a lifeguard instructor certification within 12 months of hire. Applicant must possess current and valid nationally recognized basic First Aid and CPR certifications. CPR certifications must include adult, child and infant procedures. Some physical exertion is required in a swimming rescue, must be able to lift over 45 pounds. Applicant must be able to work shifts on evenings, weekends and holidays. Requires satisfactory completion of all required security checks.
