About the position: This position is Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Arts and Crafts Center on JBER, AK. Regular Part-Time employees have a regular and continuous work schedule of at least 20 hours per week to a maximum of 34 hours per week. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience which demonstrates knowledge of a limited range of woodworking materials, techniques and processes; skill in basic layout procedures for repetitive assignments; skill in use of a variety of hand and power tools such as drills, hammers, miter box, frame cutters, and corner jigs. Must be able to stand, bend and stoop for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds and frequently lift and move heavier items with the assistance of other workers. Must have ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must possess skill in dealing with the public. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
