About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation's Outdoor Adventure Program (OAP) on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK. Flexible employees have work schedules that depend on the needs of the activity. You may work a minimum of 0 to a maximum of 40 hours per week. Flexible employees may be subjected to "on call" work in addition to hours posted on the schedule.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have a valid driver's license. Prefer experience in cash handling and computer. The position prefers experience that provides a working familiarity with the routines and procedures of recreation programs, including practical knowledge of associated activities, equipment, rules, and procedures. Applicants pursuing a degree in Recreation Management, Outdoor Recreation, or a related field, and who are in the process of completing an internship or fieldwork program, will be considered highly qualified.
