About the position: This position is Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Moose Run Golf Course on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK. This position is Flexible, meaning you are guaranteed a minimum of 0 hours per week to a maximum of 40 hours per week. Your schedule will depend on needs of the facility.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience which provides a basic knowledge and understanding of golf course operations including the rules of golf, equipment sale and repair, and tournament organization. Must have experience in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, or other processing of cash items which includes, but not limited to; direct handling of cash items and use of cash accountability control methods. Ability to lead 3 or more Recreation Aids (NF-0189-I), 3 or more Recreation Assistants (NF-0189-II), and 3 or more Laborers (NA-3502-02). Must have ability to read, write, and speak English. Must have ability to communicate orally and in writing. Must possess skill in dealing with the public. Conditions of Employment: Must be 21 years of age. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Background Investigation (Tier 1 Level). Must have a valid driver's license and provide current driving record.
