About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Aero Club on on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK. Regular Full-Time employees have a regular and continuous work schedule of at least 35 hours to a maximum of 40 hours per week. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience managing/overseeing business operations for a small club or activity (i.e., developing expense reports, interpreting business reports, & financial records, scheduling of staff, supply & inventory procedures, planning and programming of club activities, etc). Experience managing and administering a safety and maintenance program in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and policies. Associate or bachelor's degree in applicable area of study (piloting, aircraft maintenance, aviation administration, business related studies, or management.) OR 3 years of professional experience in related business management, or aviation fields. Certified flight instructor OR aircraft mechanic certificate with airframe & powerplant ratings (A&P) is preferred but not required.
