Job Summary

About the position: This position will be assigned to Eagle's Nest Lodging on Youngstown Air Reserve Base, Ohio. The purpose of this position is to serve as a maintenance worker for the base Lodging facilities The position is a flexible position, which means you are not guaranteed hours or benefits but could work anywhere between 0 and 40 hours per week. This position requires working irregular schedules, to include weekends, holidays, and all shifts.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must be able to use variety of hand tools associated with carpentry, painting and plumbing. Knowledge of standards surface preparation and coating methods and techniques. Able to carry out oral and written instructions. Must have experience in the minor repair of furniture, woodwork refinishing, electrical repair and plumbing. Must have the ability to do more than one task at the time and uses judgement in sequencing tasks. Must be physically able to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle up to one ton. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle up to one ton. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Inquiry (NACI).
