Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience in and knowledge of a wide variety of warehouse plans, methods, procedures, and techniques of material handling. Must have knowledge of defensive driving techniques and regulations. Must have skills in securing cargo for transit and knowledge of vehicle weight limits. Must have skills in maneuvering and driving vehicles weighing less than 14,000 pounds. Must be able to operate mechanized equipment for storage and retrieval. Knowledge of computer software (spreadsheet and MS word) is required. Works independently. Must be physically able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted. Must be able to frequently stand, bend, stoop, crawl, and work in tight spaces for long periods of time. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). Operator's Permit for civilian license. This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.
