Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must possess a mastery of business operations, supply chain management, and retail logistics. Must have high-level experience requiring planning, organizing, and directing the work of an operation with diverse functions. Experience must be at a level which demonstrates the analytical and managerial ability to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities described above. Must have comprehensive experience in the strategic purchasing, accounting, and storage of supplies and retail sale/perishable inventory, including weighted average based inventory management. Advanced experience in complex asset management, including the acquisition, accountability, and disposition of high-value property. Experience in vehicle fleet management, repair & maintenance oversight, and heavy machinery operator training and licensing operations. Advanced proficiency in automated retail sales, complex inventory management systems, and business-based point of sales. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively brief leadership orally and in writing in English. Sound Japanese conversational skills are highly preferred. Demonstrated managerial experience in a business-based retail sales (food and durable/nondurable goods) and services activity.
