About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Child Development Center, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. This is a Regular Part-Time position with benefits. This position may be eligible for a $500 recruitment incentive, pending approval and availability of funding.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have at least six months food handling experience in a food establishment. Must be able to read, write, and understand written and oral instructions and do simple tasks that are easily learned. Must be able to follow oral instructions, be able to use hand tools for cleaning, operate simple machines. Must be skilled in doing tasks with several steps and must use judgment in sequencing tasks. Must know food-handling techniques to meet sanitation and safety standards. Physical Efforts: Must be physically able to lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Must be able to continuously stand, walk, and bend, frequently stoop, reach, push, and pull for long periods of time. Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate, and successfully complete a National Agency check, State Criminal History Check, and Installation Records Check. Must be 18 years of age. Must hold a valid driver's license.
