This position will be assigned to The Soundside Club and is not guaranteed a set amount of hours, but can be scheduled 0 - 40 hours per week. As a federal employee you will have access to all Hurlburt Field FSS facilities. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience which demonstrated the ability to operate, control and clean heavy powered equipment. Must be able to follow oral and/or written instructions involving duties with several distinct tasks or steps. Must be physically able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 60 pounds, occasionally heavier objects with assistance. Must be able to actively bend, stoop, stand, reach, and work in awkward positions. Must be able to read room schematics to determine events layout to customer requirements. Must be able to interact with customers and provide support for their event. Must possess or be able to obtain a valid state driver's license. Must be able to read, write and speak English. May be required to work an irregular tour of duty to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Condition(s) of Employment: Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Requires a valid driver's license. Successful completion and favorable adjudication of applicable background investigation (Tier 1 Level) is required.
