Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: An applicant for this position should meet the following qualifications: Hold a Private Pilot's Certification or higher (current FAA Medical Certificate is not necessary); BS or BA(required) in one of the following: Aviation Management, Business, Safety, Education, or related degrees; Two years experience in supervision or management; two years experience in a business organization. OR four years prior SUCCESSFUL experience as a DoD Aero Club Manager or AA degree in one of the following: Aviation Management, Business, Safety, or related degrees; at least a Private Pilot Certificate or Higher (Current medical not required); a certified A&P or certified CFI; five years experience in management of an aviation related business or five years supervisory or management experience. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a NACI.
