About the position: This position is located at the Saber Pet Lodge, Spangdahlem AB, Germany This is a flexible position (0-40 hours per week). Work schedule is Monday through Friday, including occasional weekends and holidays. Must be capable of lifting and carrying objects weighing up to, and occasionally exceeding, 50 pounds. This is a drug testing position. Military Spouse Preference is not lost is selected for this position.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have working knowledge of animal and kennel care. Must be able to accurately identify various dog and cat breeds and understand their appropriate handling, behavior traits, and care requirements. Must be capable of recognizing early signs of illness, stress, or injury, assessing potential health risks, and initiating appropriate care or procedural adjustments. Must have administrative experience working with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Software, including the ability to develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets Must possess skills in communicating with customers and dealing with the public. One year working at the 52 FSS Pet Lodge is desirable, but not required.
