This position is a standing registry Physical Effort: Frequently lifts or moves objects weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must be able to follow simple oral instructions, use hand tools for cleaning, and operate simple machines. Must be skilled in doing tasks with several steps and must use judgement in sequencing tasks. Must have knowledge of sanitation standards in handling and serving food, and for cleaning equipment and work area. Experience in the operation of a cash register, direct handling of cash items, and cash accountability is desirable. Must have the ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must possess skill in dealing with the public. Must be physically able to frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Must able able to continuously stand walk, and frequently stoop, reach, push, pull, and bend for long periods of time. Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate and/ or complete food handlers training. Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical.
