Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience that provides a practical knowledge of swimming activities, rules, and procedures; skill in the use and maintenance of various pool and safety equipment is highly desirable. Must be able to maintain good standings with American Red Cross (or other nationally recognized) Certification and stay current with no break in certificates. Must be at least 16 years of age. Must be able to pass basic swim test administered by lifeguard instruction of Edwards AFB staff or other qualified ODR staff member.
