Job Description
The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is US Citizens and legal US residents in/around Vandenberg SFB, CA. All applicants must possess two forms of identification. Qualifying Experience: Must have specialized experience that demonstrates ability to apply the principles of one or more specialty areas of recreation. Experience such as assisting in the planning and execution of a Recreation program; or responsibility for a large segment of such a program is considered qualifying. Skill in planning, coordinating, and organizing Recreation program activities. Skill in effective management of financial and physical resources and budget preparation. Subject to uncommon tour of duty, shift work, weekends, and holidays. Subject to work outside in local area. Some programs require overnight stay. Some instructing and activities require special safety precautions and equipment. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Position is a position of trust. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier-1 background investigation. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. "This is a drug testing position.
