Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have general mechanical ability and/or experience which demonstrates the ability to use, control and clean power tools or powered equipment. Must be able to follow oral and/or written instructions. Must be able to follow work outlines in preventive maintenance manuals. Must be physically able to frequently lift and carry medium to heavy objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Must be able to actively bend, stoop, stand, reach and work in awkward positions.
