About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Redbank Golf Course located in Goose Creek, SC at the Naval Weapons Station.

Qualifying Experience: Associates Degree in turf equipment maintenance from an accredited college or 2 years equivalent experience is required. Requires knowledge and understanding of how job performance affects the playing conditions of the golf course, knowledge of the maintenance of golf course greens, tees, fairways and bunkers, knowledge of drainage and irrigation installation and maintenance md the systems associated within. knowledge of gasoline anddiesel equipment, hydraulic, fuel, and electrical system mechanics md repair methods, knowledge of parts. equipment and tools. knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade. Skill in performing repair work on golf course equipment and vehicles, working skill in diagnosing defects and failures of equipment and tools of the trade, skill in the use of a variety of equipment repair tools, and the making of various types of mechanical repairs, and skill in scheduling and supervising employees.
