An applicant's eligibility will be determined based on eligibility claimed in the questionnaire and proof of eligibility MUST be provided with application by the closing date, 02/27/2026 Family Member Preference, Military Spouse Preference, Outside Applicant Veteran, and Spouse/Widow/Parent of Veteran In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience which provided a working familiarity with the routines and procedures followed in group activities or programs. In addition must have or able to learn/gain experience working in an outdoor adventure recreational activity to include knowledge of equipment, rules and procedures in that area. Must have or able to learn/gain experience and training on setting of snow skis and snowboards. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Must have the ability to guide and teach customers the skill and techniques for various outdoor adventure recreational activities. Must have a valid NM drivers license or ability to obtain this license within six months from date of hire. Must have knowledge of defensive driving techniques, including skill to recognize developing hazardous road and traffic conditions and the judgment to select alternate routs to avoid potential problems. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier One security investigation. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
