Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Applicant must have acquired progressively responsible work experience where the applicant is able to apply the knowledge, skills and abilities appropriate to the grade level of the position. The experience may have been gained in similar or closely related work of the position: for example, experience in carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, etc. Must be able to follow oral or written instructions, have excellent communication skills and be able to work without constant supervision and work alone. Must be able to lift and carry supplies, materials, and equipment up to 70 pounds. Requires a valid driver's license. Must possess a thorough knowledge of materials and equipment eligible to achieve job duties. Must have working knowledge of Services Squadron. Most be able to pass a physical.
