Job Description

To qualify at the GS-07 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis. Experience auditing, reviewing, and verifying complex financial documents (such as invoices, billing statements, or payment requests). Experience performing detailed reconciliation of complex general ledger and subsidiary accounts, researching historical transactions, and resolving billing discrepancies or unmatched records. Experience entering, analyzing, and correcting financial data within automated accounting systems, identifying processing errors, and recommending workflow or operational improvements. Experience conducting research into non-routine financial inquiries, preparing written explanations to resolve billing disputes with vendors or clients, and providing guidance on proper accounting procedures.
