Job Description

To qualify at the GS-13 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis. Conduct historical and cultural resource research for facilities, properties, or programs to evaluate compliance with preservation laws, regulations, or agency requirements. Preparing reports, briefing materials, presentations, or historical documentation for management officials, agencies, or the public to communicate research findings and program information clearly and accurately. Reviewing policies, contractor work, databases, or project documentation related to historical or cultural resources to identify issues, provide recommendations, and ensure accuracy and compliance. Communicating and coordinating with internal staff, contractors, government agencies, museums, academic organizations, or the public regarding historical or cultural resource matters to support project objectives and information sharing. Assisting with coordinated projects, studies, or program activities involving historic preservation, environmental compliance, or cultural resource management to support organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
