Job Description

To qualify at the GS-07 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis. Experience assisting with or conducting environmental inspections, audits, or monitoring of facilities, operations, or activities Experience handling or supporting management of hazardous waste, universal waste, used oil, and other solid waste streams in an industrial, maintenance, or operational environment. Experience maintaining environmental or technical records (e.g., inspection checklists, logs, manifests, sampling data). Experience participating in or supporting emergency preparedness and spill response activities, such as maintaining spill kits and response equipment, assisting with cleanup of minor spills, documenting spill events, or participating in drills or exercises in accordance with established plans and instructions.
