Job Description

Basic Requirements: This position has a positive Education Requirement in addition to at least one year of Specialized Experience or substitution of education for experience or combination (if applicable) in order to be found minimally qualified. Transcripts must be submitted with your application package. You MUST meet the following requirements: EDUCATION: Degree in operations research; or at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus. AND To qualify at the GS-14 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis.. Team Lead Responsibilities - Leading a team of Agency Workforce Manpower analysts, with overall project responsibility as the primary organizational or project representative conducting Service-wide (or major component thereof) studies or projects dealing with significant changes in workforce distribution, positions, or related organizational structures. Workforce Analysis - Serving as a member of Acquisitions Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Work Groups, responsible for the determination of the proper quantity and quality (i.e., experience, specific capabilities, and other human characteristics) of positions and contractor man-hours and the organizational structures needed to operate, maintain, and support all systems acquisitions. Workforce Management - Coordinating efforts of personnel working on projects so that goals are achieved in a timely manner.
