Job Summary
This position is located in the Food, Business and Entertainment branch of the Fleet and Family Readiness Division in the Navy Region Northwest. The incumbent of this position is responsible for a variety of tasks related to bartending in the area assigned. Operates a bar that predominantly serves malt beverages and some mixed drinks. Mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks.Job Description
Knowledge and skill to mix and serve beverages from a bar using a variety of liquors, soda, beer and wine. May serve pre-mixed or simple cocktails. Skill to completely set up a bar and to recognize impending shortages of supplies based on the volume of business and ensure their timely replacement. Ability to maintain and collect tabs and operate a point-of-sale system to process payments. Ability to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and to resolve the problem or seek assistance if needed. Must meet and maintain certification for safe alcohol serving and food handling per program standards. Must meet minimum age requirements as required by law.Popular Searches
