This position is located within Commander, Mid-Atlantic Region, Fleet and Family Readiness Programs. The purpose of this position is perform is to perform manual labor tasks in support of assigned facility.
Job Description

Applicants are encouraged to be clear and specific when describing their experience level and KSAs. A qualified candidate must possess: Must be 18 years of age and must possess the ability to follow simple verbal and written instructions and carry out assigned duties independently. Must possess ability to work with basic equipment and janitorial techniques and procedures used in maintaining the assigned facility in a clean sanitary state. Must possess the ability to operate and perform routine maintenance and repair on tractor and a variety of equipment used in preparing athletic fields and facilities for sporting events. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license at all times and have the ability to operate a variety of automotive vehicles in the performance of duties. This position is subject to an irregular tour of duty including weekends and holidays.Physical activities include, but are not limited to standing, walking, bending, turning, stooping, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling and light lifting. Some activities are prolonged in nature. The employee will at times, lift up to 45 pounds unassisted, heavier items are with assistance. The employee is subject to exposure to extreme temperatures from dishwasher/kitchens and walk-in refrigerators/freezers. Outside work is subject to a variety of weather conditions. Working area is subject to noise. The employee is subject to minor cuts, bruises, burns and falls. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is issued and used as needed. If issued, PPE must be worn appropriately.
