Job Description
To qualify at the GS-05 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-04 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis.or4 years above high school (except Reporting Stenographer) Reconciles monthly register printouts without individual transaction listings. Initiates, codes, processes accounting adjustments to transfer charges, correct errors in disbursements, progress payments, discounts in ledgers. To qualify at the GS-06 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-05 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis. Analyzes error listings, identifies error sources, makes corrective entries, reprocesses accounting transactions. Computes transportation charges, discounts, total voucher amounts, initiates adjustments. Reconciles accounts payable listings with general ledger, researches discrepancies, initiates adjustment actions. To qualify at the GS-07 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis. Validates, monitors, maintains accounting transactions, records for multiple accounts. Reconciles subsidiary ledgers to general ledgers with varied transactions, researches discrepancies, make adjustments. Maintains control, subsidiary accounts, processes transactions for diverse functions.
