You must be a graduate with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree or equivalent from an accredited law school; AND 2. You must have bar membership in one of the 50 states, Washington, DC, Puerto Rico or the US. Virgin Islands. Minimum Requirements: To qualify at the GS-13 grade level, applicants must have at least one (1) full year of professional legal experience or additional relevant experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Some examples of specialized experience are: Providing legal advice; Drafting legal documents; Representing clients; Developing litigation strategy Advising on compliance with relevant laws and regulations; Assisting with dispute resolution through negotiation, mediation, or litigation.
