Basic Requirements: This position has a positive Education Requirement in addition to at least one year of Specialized Experience or substitution of education for experience or combination (if applicable) in order to be found minimally qualified. You MUST meet the following requirements: EDUCATION: Undergraduate Education: Major study -- any field of study in an accredited college or university. Graduate Education: Major study -- fields related to the position to be filled. or EXPERIENCE: Specialized Experience: Examples of qualifying specialized experience include: Working as a skilled mechanic or maintenance worker, sales or service engineer, or planner or estimator in a technical group dealing with manufacture, utilization, repair, or operation of equipment. Reviewing and applying technical specifications and requirements. Analyzing equipment and forecasting spare parts requirements. Reading and interpreting engineering change orders, equipment requisitions, shop orders, and work orders. Analyzing contract specifications and examining pertinent equipment to determine if specifications are met. Analyzing or supervising maintenance, repair, or production operations to determine methods of improvement. AND To qualify at the GS-11 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis. Experience managing large-scale, specialized inventory operations, specifically industrial/maritime assets and associated construction hardware Experienced in operating industrial material handling equipment (MHE) up to 22k lbs and maintaining heavy equipment (forklifts, telehandlers, etc) Proficient in navigating complex logistics and financial databases, including executing transport documents via the Commercial Bill of Lading (CBL) system, managing local acquisitions, and maintaining strict data integrity within various systems Experience developing long-range material forecasts and anticipating complex hardware requirements based on operational tempos and scheduled maintenance lifecycles Experience conducting technical reviews of engineering drawings, blueprint specifications, and equipment datasheets to verify compliance with design requirements NOTE: All experience statements (i.e., duties, specialized experience, or related applicable assessment) copied from this announcement and pasted into your resume will not be considered as a demonstration of your qualifications for this position.
