Job Description

To qualify at the GS-07 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis. Experience with USCG or equivalent aviation materiel inventory, ordering, and auditing systems to include AMMIS, EAL, and/or ALMIS in addition to knowledge and ability to operate transport material equipment (e.g., forklift, hand truck, pallet jacks). Ability to actively manage rotating stocks of consumables and high-value tracked items to include: forecasting consumption trends to anticipate procurements, attentive inventory audits, and implementing controls to ensure inventory accuracy Ability to prepare procurement documents for purchases, receipting, and logistics center and/or OEM returns in addition to tracking on hand inventory Ability to conduct wall to wall audits, generate inventory records from USCG aviation materiel databases (or equivalent), and reconcile differences NOTE: All experience statements (i.e., duties, specialized experience, or related applicable assessment) copied from this announcement and pasted into your resume will not be considered as a demonstration of your qualifications for this position.
