Job Description
To qualify at the GS-12 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis. Environmental Response Knowledge - Specialized knowledge of the principles and practices related to environmental response, maritime security, cyber security, and railroad incident response coordination and regulations. Watch Program Analysis - Analyzing and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of administrative or Federal laws and regulations, documentation and reporting requirements for the NRC Watch Operations Call Center Oversight - Managing call center phone accounts, identifying and troubleshooting phone system issues, and ensuring the call recording system is working correctly by coordinating with the phone system support team. Team Leadership - Representing the team in dealings with the Supervisor or leadership for the purpose of obtaining resources (e.g., computer hardware and software, use of overtime or compensatory time), and securing needed information or decisions from the supervisor on major work problems and issues that arise. Training and Quality Control - Training or arranging for the training of personnel in methods and techniques of team building and working to accomplish tasks or projects and provide or arrange for specific administrative or technical training necessary for accomplishment of individual and team tasks.
