To qualify at the GS-7 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-5 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis. Maintaining tenant records, preparing lease documents, coordinating move in/outs, and scheduling maintenance/repair of facilities, equipment and furnishings. Conducting intake interviews and determining housing eligibility, processing applications and managing waitlists. Assisting with property inspections or lease compliance and resolution of issues. NOTE: Education can be substituted for experience at this grade level. To qualify based on education, you must meet one of the following requirements: Completed at least one full year of graduate level education in an accredited college or university that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. Were in the upper one-third of your graduating class; OR have a GPA of 3.0 or higher out of 4.0, as recorded on official transcript, or based on courses completed during the final 2 years of curriculum; OR a GPA of 3.5 or higher out of 4.0, based on average of required courses completed in major or required courses in major completed during the final 2 years of curriculum. Have a combination of graduate education and specialized experience that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position. National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience): Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
