Job Description

To qualify at the GS-05 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-04 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis. Providing customer service support to accession personnel by assisting with the issuance of standard uniform items. Inputs uniform issue and return information into automated inventory systems and verifies transaction data to maintain accurate records and support inventory accountability. Maintains administrative records related to uniform issuance, including initial issue documentation and transaction files, to ensure records are complete, organized, and retrievable. Assists with processing uniform returns and replacements by performing routine visual inspections, documenting return information, and preparing items for reissue to support service quality and inventory accuracy. Uses standard office software and Coast Guard-specific automated systems to enter, retrieve, and update data to support uniform operations, inventory tracking, and clerical tasks. Education: Successfully completed four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical, junior college, college or university. OR possess a combination of education and experience.
