Job Summary
This position is within the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Division of Navy Region Southwest (NRSW). The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of tasks in order to operate, maintain and repair buildings, grounds, related structures, fixtures and utilities. Typical work assignments include visual inspections and operational tests in order to determine necessary maintenance and repair of all MWR Facilities. Located at Fiddler's Cove Marina & RV Park, Naval Base Coronado.Job Description
The incumbent must have the ability to provide leadership and guidance to a diversified crew of employees assigned to a Maintenance Shop. Must possess sufficient skill and knowledge of the trades to direct the work of employees in accomplishing assigned tasks. Must be able to work from blueprints, sketches, drawings, oral and written instructions, and be able to apply shop mathematics sufficiently to perform assignments. Will be required to work alone as well as with helpers and other tradesmen. Must be able to operate various types of equipment and tools of the trade. Incumbent must have knowledge of all specific trades. Must possess a valid California Driver's License.Popular Searches
