Job Description
To qualify for the Management and Program Analyst, PG -0343-12, you must meet the following requirements: Applicants must possess: Applicants must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent of the PG-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities, to perform successfully the duties of the position. Experience includes: 1) preparing and reviewing annual budget requests; 2) analyze data to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations; 3) develop presentations and reports to negotiate recommendations requiring extensive changes to department procedures; and 4) manage and coordinate employee training/development and operating procedures within the program. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Only experience obtained by the closing date of this announcement will be considered.
