Job Description
Basic Requirements: This position has a positive Education Requirement in addition to at least one year of Specialized Experience or substitution of education for experience or combination (if applicable) in order to be found minimally qualified. Transcripts must be submitted with your application package. You MUST meet the following requirements: EDUCATION: Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR Combination of education and experience that provided you with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. OR Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated you acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. AND To qualify at the GS-11 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis. Assessing individual, family, employee, patient, student, customer or community needs; coordinating services, referrals, or resources, maintaining records and assisting individuals in accessing available programs or support services. Applying policies, procedures or program guidance processing program actions, maintaining records or databases, monitoring compliance requirements or coordinating with internal or external stakeholders to support service delivery. Developing, coordinating or delivering educational, outreach, informational or customer support activities related to programs, services or available resources. NOTE: Education can be substituted for experience at this grade level if you meet one of the following: A.
