This position is located at Mid-Atlantic Region, Fleet and Family Readiness Program, Fleet Readiness Department. The incumbent will be responsible for the daily operation and management of the retail Pro Shop, Driving Range and Cart Barn. This position is located at the Eagle Haven Golf course.

Job Description

A qualified candidate possess the following: Knowledge of management procedures and general business practices related to the management of a pro shop/retail facility. Incumbent must possess a practical knowledge commercial, retail and a good knowledge of policies and procedures pertaining to operations including accounting, merchandising and patron control. Basic knowledge of the rules and etiquette of the game of golf and golf tournament operations. Must be experienced in providing exceptional customer service to all eligible patrons. Must be skilled in the current techniques of operating a financial establishment including some experience with point-of-sale cash register equipment, basic computer knowledge and basic accounting and budgeting functions. Must have the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
