About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to Arts & Crafts facility located within the 14 FSS Flying Training Wing Columbus AFB. FLEX employees are guaranteed 0 hours but may work up to 40 per week. FLEX employees are not eligible for leave/benefits.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience with ceramic molding and painting, painting with other media, fabric crafts, calligraphy and or lettering machines, engraving, glass crafts and mat cutting required. Must be able to read, write, spell and figure basic math and measurements. Must have a clear speaking voice and be able to deal with the public. May work uncommon work schedule, including weekends. Requires continuous standing, walking and stooping. Subject to metal and wood splinters, adhesives, paint fumes, cuts, burns and bruises. Must be physically able to lift and carry items up to and including 50 pounds. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
