About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Roadrunner Inn, Kirtland AFB, NM. Position is Regular Full Time employment category (guarantees 35 hrs/wk). May be eligible for benefits such as Medical/Dental, Group Life, 401(k), and AFNAF Retirement. Schedule flexibility is highly desired may include days, nights, weekends, holidays, swings, graveyard shifts and rotate often.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have functional experience and demonstrated a mastery of front desk operations from both military or civilian hotel operation; and the ability to build teams and work with others. Applicant must have experience in general clerical or cashier work of any kind in which the applicant has demonstrated ability to perform satisfactorily in handling multiple tasks and providing quality customer service. Experience must have demonstrated the ability to resolve common arithmetic problems, and to make change when receiving payment from customers. Supervisory experience in another lodging function such as housekeeping, logistics, etc., may be substituted for front desk experience. Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and basic computer skills highly desired. No set schedule for this position; flexibility highly desired (schedules include days, swings, graveyard, weekends, holidays & may rotate often) Ability to work in group or alone and stand for extended periods of time is desired.
