About the position: The primary purpose of this position is to assist in the operations and maintenances of the Arts & Crafts Center Program at the Arts & Crafts Center of the 35th Force Support Squadron Misawa AB. This is a Flexible category position; guaranteed 0 hours per week, but may work up to 40 hours a week (depending on the needs of the facility). Military Spouse Preference is not lost if selected for this position.

Qualifying Experience: Must have working experience or knowledge of the recreational activities and equipment, rules and procedures as relate to the particular activity in which they are assigned. Responsible experience in retail sales which has provided a technical knowledge of retail products within the organization, merchandise display, maintaining inventory levels, and salesmanship responsibilities. Must have customer service and cash handling experience. Must be able to read, write, and communicate clearly and accurately in English. Condition(s) of Employment: Must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must be physically able to lift and carry items up to and including 50 pounds. Successful completion and favorable adjudication of applicable background investigation (Tier 1) is required. May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
