Job Description

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Knowledge of business operations policies, procedures, methods, and publicity techniques within one or more of the following areas: military recreation; morale, welfare, and recreation business operations; and/or community wide event planning. Skill in written and oral communication techniques to explain, justify, and present ideas and findings on a variety of issues. Ability to make decisions and work effectively under the pressure of timelines and rigid deadlines. Knowledge of accounting and budgeting procedures in order to prepare, monitor variances, and revise budgets. Must possess skill in dealing with customers and the public. Experience using Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must be able to work shifts, to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Must satisfactorily complete a Tier I (T-l) background check. Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate and/or complete food handler's training. Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record. This is a designated drug testing position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use. Position is a Position of Trust.
