Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: A minimum of 3 years of specialized experience in NAF accounting procedures. Extensive accounting and financial analysis experience. Experience with standard business software systems such as Microsoft Office, Oracle, or other database program. Experience with using utility programs to develop efficient database update and retrieval procedure. Experience communicating effectively, both orally and in writing. Thoroughly versed in double entry and accrual accounting. Ability to provide briefing the upper management and leadership. Experience maintaining Subsidiary Ledgers and handling out of balance conditions of an account.
