Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have a minimum of 5 years experience as a club or full service restaurant manager, with strong knowledge and hands-on food and beverage skills or as a chef, kitchen manager or cook foreman. American Culinary Federation (ACF) certified executive chef or cook and/or formal culinary training is highly desired. Must have strong food and beverage costs and analysis, internal and inventory controls, pricing strategy knowledge, and good training, oral, and written communication skills. Must be able to use a variety of management information based tools. Subject to prolong standing and working in extreme temperatures such as hot kitchens and cold to freezing refrigerators and freezers.
