About the position: This announcement is only for AF NAF Internal employees. This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Fitness Centers at Patrick SFB and Cape Canaveral. This position includes the opportunity to enroll in Health and Life Insurance, 401K and Retirement, Annual and Sick Leave. This is Regular Part Time position, minimun hours guarenteed are 20.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have progressively responsible experience demonstrating the ability to perform satisfactorily at the NF-ll grade level, a minimum of one year experience providing specialized knowledge of the resources utilized in this position, and cashier experience. Experience in leading groups to accomplish organizational goals and objectives is desired. Must possess American Red Cross CPR/ AED/ First Aid/Bloodborne Pathogen certification or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire. Competent experience with Microsoft Office software is desired. Work requires frequen physical exertion and the incumbent must be able to frequently walk, bend, stoop and lift objects up to 50 pounds unassisted and successfully pass a pre-employment physical exam. Must be able read, write and speak English fluently and communicate effectively. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries. Must be available to work nights, weekends and Holidays as required and/or directed.
