About the position: This position will be assigned to the Fitness Center on Patrick SFB, FL. This position includes the opportunity to enroll in Health and Life Insurance, 401K and Retirement, Annual and Sick Leave. This position requires shift work to provide coverage on days, evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Scheduled hours will be a minimum of 40 hours per week. Must be able to life objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience that provided a working familiarity in fitness program administration and community event coordination. A 4-year degree in a fitness, exercise science or related field, or equivalent length of specialized work experience is desired. Must possess American Red Cross or American Heart Association CPR/AED/First Aid/Bloodborne Pathogen/Biohazard Spill certifications or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire. Competent experience with Microsoft Office software is desired. Work requires frequent physical exertion, and the incumbent must be able to frequently walk, bend, stoop and lift objects up to 50 pounds unassisted and successfully pass a pre-employment physical exam. Must be able read, write and speak English fluently and communicate effectively with patrons and coworkers. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries. Must be available to work nights, weekends and Holidays as required and/or directed.
