About the position: This position will be assigned to the 45 FSS/FSWM at the Manatee Cove Marina. This position requires shift work to provide coverage on days, evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Scheduled hours will be 0-40 per week.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have progressively responsible experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the mechanical and maintenance functions, motor vehicle and small powerboat operation required in this position. Must have demonstrated proficiency with an assortment of common hand and power tools. Basic knowledge in performing minor maintenance and self-help construction. Must read, write and speak English and be able to communicate effectively. Must have the ability to read and understand written and oral instructions and ensure completion of assigned tasks. Must be physically able to lift, handle and carry objects weighting over 50 pounds and be able to work an uncommon tour of duty to include evenings, weekends and holidays. Must satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.
