Job Summary

About the position: This position will be assigned to the 47th Force Support Squadron, located within the Marketing Department on Laughlin AFB, Del Rio, Texas. This position is considered Regular Full Time (RFT). Guaranteed 35 hours a week with potential to a maximum of 40 hours per week. You may be required to work nights, weekends and holidays. RFT employees are eligible to earn annual and sick leave as well as benefits including Health/Dental and Life Insurance, 401k and Retirement.

Qualifying Experience: Experience which provides a general knowledge of marketing/advertising principles and practices. Experience must demonstrate the ability to perform research, select, arrange and compose material and maintain well-organized files. In addition, must have specialized experience which demonstrates the ability to design and layout advertising copy and artwork using desk top publishing software, word processing and other software. Experience developing, conducting and analyzing market research information. Experience assisting with social media content development or analytics is desirable. Ability to read, write and speak English. Must possess skill in dealing with customers and public. Bachelor's or Associate degree or equivalent professional certification in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field is desired.
